Padman is an upcoming 2018 Indian biographical comedy-drama film written and directed by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Aptein lead roles, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu . Amitabh Bachchan appears in a special role. Amit Trivedi and Komail Shayan scored the music of the film, with the former composing the film score and latter composing the songs.
