It's a Hindi-Punjabi song, much like 'Paani Da' and 'Saadi Gali.' However, at one point in the song, the lyrics of Aashiqui film's title track blend seamlessly with the song and that's the beauty of it. The story portrayed in the track has an unexpected twist towards the end unlike the other singles by T-Series.
'Ik Vaari' has been composed and penned by Apaarshakti Khurrana and Ayushmann. Presented by Bhushan Kumar, the song has been crooned by Ayushmann, who is also seen dancing in the song for a refreshing change.
