Angela served as the Vice President of Ministry of Culture and Sports in George Papandreou’s Cabinet. Her extremely good looks got her lot of attention in the early 80’s by the directors and producers of the Greek cinema which was then flourishing.
She resigned from her prestigious post because of her husband’s debts. Her husband, Tolis Voskopoulos was a popular singer in the 70’s and 80’s and they paid taxes jointly for over years but people believe that his taxes and debts were accumulated before they became known to each other.
