
India, in the year 1992 started to first induct women into non-medical roles in the army. After that, the Indian army has come a very long way. Having a total of14.3% Indian woman comprises of 8.5% in the air force, 2.8% in the naval forces and 3% in the military. Recently, the United Nations took notice of the Indian women soldiers bravery. To help in keeping peace in Liberia, India recently deployed 105 women police force wearing their country’s vibrant colored uniform.
12. China

China’s People Liberation Army, the largest army in the entire world having 2.3 million soldiers active. Sadly, women are barred from the combat positions in the PLA and face strict scrutiny. But these hardships do not discourage women from coming forward and enrolling themselves in the army. Being a part of the PLA opens doors for them to get higher education and guarantees better future and jobs.
