Pleats were in in the 50s and 60s when our fathers and grandfathers wore their trousers up to their belly buttons. Flat fronts have been the rage since then and don't show any signs of fading out. While some designers do offer pleats for enthusiastic retro bugs, the chances of them looking good again on low-waist pant-wearing modern men looks pretty slim.
