Russia: 15,000 Muslims Race To Opening Of Europe's Largest Mosque

Around 15,000 Muslims raced from the Heart of Chechnya mosque to the gates of the Imany Kadyrova mosque in Argun, in the Russian republic of Chechnya, Friday. The 16.4-kilometer race was held to mark the opening of Imany Kadyrova. The building, capable of hosting roughly 15,000 worshippers, is Europe's largest mosque. A helicopter was seen depositing confetti on the runners below.
