Slacklining, which is essentially extreme tightrope walking, is Seabrooke's rush of choice. On August 2, he set out to break the world record for longest free solo slackline ever completed. The 26-year-old Canadian walked a distance of 210 feet while suspended 1,000 feet above the ground...all without the use of a harness or any other safety equipment.
I worked up a sweat watching that. It's hard to comprehend the physical, mental, and emotional strength it'd take to pull that off. This is one world record I'm happy to let someone else keep.
