If there is anything in this world that can make you feel worse than being single – it is being the only single guy in your group of committed friends. While your friends are busy with their ‘significant other’, you are too tied up maintaining your serious relationship with Netflix, pizza and beer. Well, we feel you bro!

You would be surprised at how there is not one friend who is single, everyone, I repeat everyone is dating except for you. In fact, by now you have actually lost the count of all the couples in your group and those outside the group. It’s like, if you were to be given money for each friend who is committed, you would be a millionaire by now.

You are always regarded as a third wheel that is carried wherever they go. In fact, those around you often doubt of you three being in a love triangle since you are always together. But, when the same person i.e. YOU are seen with every other friend and his partner, your family starts looking at you in sympathy for being forever single. If you can relate to all these things then we are sure that you will also relate to the following struggles that only you know to be true.

1. You Are Not Counted As A Human Anymore, You Are Synonymous To A Wheel

Third wheel, fifth wheel, seventh wheel…and the list just goes on. You are like this forever alone guy (or should we say an accessory) who has to be a part of all the outings and trips that your friends take with their partners and there is no escaping it. Seems, odd numbers looked better only in the Maths textbooks.

2. Thanks To Your Buddy, You Hate Surprises And Visits AND Them

For you it was a game night with drinks, but for your friend it was a perfect opportunity to get laid with his girlfriend. The worst part is that he reveals his plan to you while standing at your door. Things get tougher since you can’t say no to them and you definitely can’t entertain their wish. ‘Dilemma’ is just an understatement here.

3. You Have Seen More Than What You Could Have, If Been In A Relationship

You being single does not affect your vast knowledge about couples and relationship since you have the first-hand experience in dealing with this sh*t. Be it the fights or arguments or giving relationship advices to them; you know it all. With the knowledge you now have, you can start your own counseling agency and can actually charge them for those valuable advices.

4. People Look At You With Hopes That Someone Would Join You

Initially it was embarrassing to ask the restaurant manager to book a table for seven or nine people but now you have got used to it. What’s painful is when the other customers or waiters look at the empty seat next to you in hopes that your girlfriend might join you soon while your friends are busy romancing.
